Markis McDuffie's twitter post indicates he will start practicing with the team soon. The junior forward suffered a stress fracture in September and has been in recovery ever since.
McDuffie has not played a game with the Shockers this season but was on the court warming up prior to the game against Arkansas State. IN 2016-17, McDuffie led the team in scoring, averaging 11.5 ppg. He also led the team with 42 steals.
The Shockers will play Florida Gulf Coast on Friday, Dec. 22nd at Koch Arena. They will open AAC Conference play at UCONN on Dec. 30th.
