Reid suspends Peters from Raiders game

Oct, 23, 2016; Kansas City, Missouri, ; during an NFL game between the Kansas City Chiefs and New Orleans Saints at Arrowhead Stadium.

Marcus Peters will not play Sunday against the Raiders. He has also been suspended from practice this week.

Chiefs head coach Andy Reid did not say the suspension stemmed directly from Peters' behavior in Sunday's loss to the Jets. The cornerback threw a yellow flag into the stands after a penalty was called. Peters then left the stadium even though he was not ejected and did not play the remainder of the game.

After a 5-1 start to the season, the Chiefs have lost 6-of-their-last-7 and have fallen into a tie for first place in the AFC West with the Los Angeles Chargers.
