Shaq earns AAC honor roll

Wichita State center Shaquille Morris has been named to the American Athletic Conference Honor Roll for Jan. 1-7.

The 6-foot-8 Morris put up 14.5 points and 5.0 rebounds while shooting over 70 percent from the field to help the Shockers to home wins over Houston and USF. He made all three of his three-point attempts and blocked three shots.

The redshirt senior out of Edmond, Okla. is the team's second leading scorer (12.2 points) and is tied for the league lead in blocked shots (29).

Morris becomes the fourth different Shocker to win a weekly honor this year.
