WSU Women earn first-ever AAC victory

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) -- It took new head coach Keitha Adams seven games to earn her first win at Wichita State.

It took four conference games to earn the team's first-ever AAC victory.

Adams led her squad to a 69-61 win over Memphis Wednesday night at Koch Arena.

Rangie Bessard led all scorers with 24 points and 10 rebounds, her sixth double-double of the season.

The 6-12 Shockers travel to Tulane Saturday at 2:30.
