WSU Women prepare for first-ever AAC Tournament

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WSU) - Wichita State will open play in the 2018 Aaron's American Athletic Conference Championship as the No. 6 seed after a 9-7 mark in its first season in the league.

The Shockers (14-16, 9-7) will face No. 11 Temple on Saturday at 11 a.m. CT/12 p.m. ET on ESPN3. Wichita State defeated Temple in the lone meeting this season - an 88-81 victory in Wichita on Valentine's Day.
