Kansas’ #1-rated television station is seeking a Sports Intern for the spring school semester.
This is a critical position in a newsroom that operates 24-7-365. You will learn from some of the best sports journalists in the industry. This position requires a strong motivation to succeed in the sports broadcast industry. You will learn how to engage with viewers on social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat.
The fall sports intern will work with the sports executive producer to help execute short term and long-term sports coverage. You will participate in television, web, and social media producing.
The right candidate should be enrolled in an internship class through an accredited college. All candidates must be perusing a degree in broadcast journalism, or a communications-related field.
