Cotton Wood Point independent living facility in Augusta, Kansas just got a little bit cooler. To keep their residents active, they're recently installed a Man Cave and started an exercise class.

The Man Cave, obviously created for the male population of Cotton Wood Point, has a brand new pool table and big screen TV. It's not uncommon to find some of the men downstairs shooting pool and drinking beer.

"Our residents know how to have fun!" explains site manager Carmen Montague.

The exercise class is taught 3 times a week- Monday, Wednesday and Friday. For 30 minutes, residents stretch, lift weights and keep active. The aerobics class is open to all residents, and is included in their rent. Cotton Wood Point is looking at expanding their exercise offerings, as their about to start senior Yoga classes.

The staff at Cotton Wood Point is dedicated to making sure their residents live out their retirement in a fun, comfortable environment. To find out more about Cotton Wood Point, visit them online at
