Via Christi Village on Georgetown hosted its own version of the Kansas State Fair on Friday, Sept. 23. Residents were treated to a host of carnival games, including the toilet toss, golf hole in one, pop bottle toss, penny fling and a milk bottle toss. There was a petting zoo that featured baby goats, bunnies, chicks and ducks. The village had quilts on display. Everyone enjoyed the fair fare of cotton candy, corn dogs and lemonade. A highlight of the event was a guided tour to see the sideshow, the Incredible Man Eating Chicken.
