Over 200 people attended the annual Halloween party Oct. 27, with more than 119 entries in the costume contest. Trick or treating throughout Assisted Living and 10 game stations highlighted the event. The theme was Monster Bash with a variety of not-so-scary monsters decorating the Community Room, which was turned into a dungeon for the night. Hospice Care of Kansas clowns were on hand to give out balloon swords, princess wands and all kinds of fun balloon creatures. The dietary staff put together a delicious selection of horrific goodies to snack on and all kinds of fun treats were given out at the game stations.
