Knocknasheega came to perform in the Court Sept. 27. This is a great Celtic band that resident Lois Crossley’s grandchildren play in. Mimi plays banjo and John plays mandolin. The band
announce that their lead singer/spoon player was moving to Hawaii and after the performance approached Resident Social Director Samantha Seymour about singing. Samantha has been
singing for memorial service/funerals and residents for years now and jumped at the opportunity. Look for Knocknasheega to be performing in Assisted Living on Dec. 13.

Assisted Living residents enjoyed music by Jim, Rich and Mike Oct. 5. They are frequently requested by residents and they never fail to please.

Residents were busy in October creating decorations for Halloween and stuffing candy in treat bags for the annual Halloween party. Court residents decorated foam pumpkins for table decorations and also pasted foam faces on some real pumpkins to make the court even more festive. Assisted Living residents decorated pumpkins with paints and by pasting vintage Halloween prints on them. This gave the pumpkins a very sophisticated vintage feel. Resident creativity really shined.
