KWCH - Kansas News and Weather - School Bus Driver & Monitor Fired After Student Fight

A Wichita school bus driver and an assistant are fired following a fight between students.
It happened Thursday afternoon on bus traveling from Sowers Alternative High School. The police report says two students hit another with a seat belt buckle. There were no injuries.
Durham bus services says the driver and a monitor were fired Friday for not responding appropriately to the situation.
A district spokesperson says bus surveillance video is being reviewed.
