Update: Authorities Apprehend Escaped Inmate

A man that escaped from the Hutchinson Correctional Faciliy on Saturday is now back in custody.

Authorities apprehended Steve Genton Monday morning at a Goodwill store in Hutchinson. Someone called police when they saw a man matching Genton's description.

Police say Genton tried to run when officers showed up. He was caught just north of the Goodwill store near 17th and Waldron in Hutchinson. Genton was taken back to the Hutchinson Correctional Facility. Investigators are still trying figure out exactly how he got out.
