The Butler County man suspected of killing Carol Mould has pleaded Not Guilty to First Degree Murder charges.

He was in court for a brief arraignment Friday morning.  The judge set a trial date of January 12th, 2010.

A judge bound Bill Moore over for trial in early October.

During his preliminary hearing, emergency workers testified Moore told them he killed Carol Mould after they responded to a 911 call from his home in May of this year.

Mould was found dead in her home outside Benton in September 2004.  On Wednesday, Moore was in court to hear the evidence prosecutors have against him.  He's charged with first degree murder.

Mould's body was found after fire crews responded to her home and found her just inside the front door.  Her body had been set on fire after she died.
