The Better Business Bureau says people need to be careful of a scam involving free groceries this holiday season.
A commercial has aired on a local radio station offering $1,000.00 in free groceries in exchange for answering a short survey over the phone. The person then gives their credit/debit card information for a small charge.
Some of the people who contacted the Better Business Bureau say they have not received their coupons yet.
The radio station has since pulled the commercial.
The BBB says you should talk to them about companies before giving them financial information.
