(MULLINVILLE, Kan.)—
A feud that's lasted months over a Kiowa County road comes to an end. The City of Mullinville and artist MT Liggett have gone back and fourth over a small section of Elm Street.City leaders said the street was city property. But Liggett says the city abandoned the road decades ago and never did the paperwork to get it back. He put up road blocks to keep the city out of the area.
Now the mayor of Mullinville says Liggett's sold the disputed part of the road back to the city for $10. And the city has assured Liggett it has no interest in his pasture land.
