Jury selection is complete in the murder of a Hutchinson mother. Christopher Logsdon's trial will begin this week. He's charged with first degree murder in the death of Jennifer Heckel.

Heckel was killed in her home in June 2011. She was shot in the back and head.  Prosecutors have said her death was a case of mistaken identity.

Logsdon and another man, Billy Joe Craig, Jr., are both charged with her murder. They both have pleaded not guilty.

Opening statements in Logsdon's trial are expected Thursday. The trial is scheduled to take a month, but prosecutors have said it could last until Thanksgiving.  Craig's trail begins in January.

The court expects many from the community, like Greg and Janet Teague,to want to attend the trial, along with family members.

"Just that justice is done," Greg Teague explained.

"If that'd be my family, I'd want the death penalty," added his wife, Janet.  "I feel sorry for the family, what they're going to have to go through."

Authorities say, between the numbers expected to observe the trial and the lengthy witness list, security could become an issue. They plan to re-evaluate their security measures on a daily basis.
