Donors and volunteers gathered with city and countil leaders to dedicate the new downtown Wichita YMCA Thursday afternoon.
The new $23 million Robert D. Love Downtown YMCA opens December 10. It is next to the existing building.
The current facility will be torn down to make room for a parking lot. The old YMCA closes December 5.
The public will get an early chance to see the new building at Central and Market with an open house on Saturday, Dec. 8.
