Several people spent the night outside the Kansas Pavilions to be the first in line to receive free dental care.
The Kansas Mission of Mercy will be held Friday and Saturday at the Kansas Coliseum. The project provides free cleanings, extractions and fillings to patients in need of care. The service is provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Doors open at 5:30 a.m. both days.
This is the 10th year for the project. Since it's inception, 21,317 patients have recieved care totaling more than $11 million.
