Listening to six year old Noah Dossett, its hard to imagine Friday is his first time in a pilot's seat.
He may not be able to reach all the controls but he says that doesn't affect his flying.
But Friday morning, McConnell Air Force Base made an exception for Noah with an official custom Air Force jump suit, Noah is "Pilot for a Day".
Noah's family says this kind of plane trip provides a much needed break.
Every week, for the last seven months, noah has been undergoing chemotherapy to treat his lukemia.
Noah's dad, Monte, says it helps to be surrounded by good people.
Some of which, helped make Noah's wish of being a pilot come true Friday.
McConnell grants four kids wishes to be a pilot every year.
Teaching them about flying and touring the bases air traffic control tower and fire station.
Crew members say none have been more excited than Noah.
With a couple years of treatment left, his family says they'll cling to this memory.
"Its definitely a great experience and I know he'll remember it and talk about it for years to come," says Monte Dossett.
