A Hoisington woman dies in a crash Monday in Barton County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says 62-year-old Janice A. Aylward was driving east on K-4, two miles east of Hoisington just before 7:15 Monday morning. Investigators say, for some reason, Aylward's Jeep went left of center and went into a ditch.
The KHP says the Jeep hit a field drive and vaulted. It rolled several times before coming to rest on its top. Aylward died at the scene.
