Allow me to go back to my roots for a moment.
As a Hutchinson native, I still keep an eye on the Blue Dragons from Hutchinson Community College.
This week the men's team is ranked #1 in the nation with a perfect 18-0 record.
Incredibly enough, the women's team is also ranked #1 in the NJCAA poll...also with an 18-0 record.
Congratulations!
Some of my best sports-viewing moments were watching the Dragons win the national championship in basketball in 1988 and 1994.
Their first championship in '88 came just days before K-U won the NCAA title.
Hmmmmm.
Roger
