A family friendly show at the state fair is making a big splash with fair goers.
It's called the Sea Lion Splash Show. A team of trainers travel across the country putting on the show. The show includes 3 sea lions that do tricks for spectators. But the show isn't all about fun and games. It's also educational.
Trainer Stefi Slavova says, the object of the show is to teach kids the importance of recycling. The show also give kids a chance to see something they wouldn't normally see at a zoo says Elizabeth Walton, a mother from Hutchinson. There is even an opportunity for kids to have their pictures taken with the sea lions after the show.
You can catch the Sea Lion Splash Show at the sea lion exhibit at Gottschalk Park. Show times are 11:30 am, 1:30 pm, and 6:30 pm each day of the fair.
