They rode mechanical bulls, and not just for fun. Club Rodeo in East Wichita hosted a rodeo event to raise money for the Children's Miracle Network on Sunday.
The event featured professional bull riders and cowboys. It also included kid friendly activities like roping demonstrations and stick horse races.
Proceeds from the event went to a special hospital fund that provides therapeutic horseback riding opportunities to children. Experts say therapeutic riding can be beneficial to children with a wide range of conditions.
