Who's the real Gossip Girl? We've only been waiting six years to find out.

A series finale is always a bittersweet time, and the mood of our favorite Upper East Siders is no exception as the last episode begins to unfold. After watching Bart Bass fall to his death at the real estate awards gala, Chuck and Blair decide to escape the scene ... via the trunk of a limo, no less. They go to a hotel to try and hide from the police, but Chuck's evil-turned-good Uncle Jack manages to find them. He tries to point out that just telling the police the truth would be a lot less complicated, but Chuck refuses to risk going behind bars. Jack then tells Chuck that the second best option is to get married so Blair can't be forced to testify against him in court, but he's not so sure about that either. Thankfully, it only takes about two minutes of Blair's protesting before he changes his mind. And finally (can we say finally one more time?), Chuck gets down on one knee and proposes. We can all let out a sigh of relief now.
