After graduating from the Rhode Island School of Design, Seth MacFarlane got his start writing and drawing storyboards for Hanna-Barbera and Nickelodeon. He worked on a wide range of shows including "Cow and Chicken," "Johnny Bravo," "Dexter's Laboratory," "I Am Weasel" and "Ace Ventura: Pet Detective."
