Both Todd Tiahrt and Jerry Moran won the GOP senate debate we aired Monday night, at least according to their campaigns.
We'll let the voters make that decision.
But rather than a clear winner or loser, the common response I keep seeing is about the negativity.
Whether it's a televised debate, or on-air advertising, candidates of all stripes seem to spend more time bashing their opponents than telling us why they deserve our votes.
Viewers (and voters) claim to be turned off by the negativity, so why do candidates keep doing it?
Well, political experts say it's simple...the negativity works.
