In one week, July 16, I get a new hip!
Right now you're saying, "No way...Roger, you're way too young for that!"
But it's true. Decades of running, basketball, golf and sitting on the news set have taken their toll.
It's sure to be a pain in the you-know-what for a while after surgery, but eventually I should be able to walk without pain for the first time in more than two years.
Obviously, I'll miss some work time during recovery, but you will be in the capable hands of the good folks here at Eyewitness News.
You may not even miss me!
