A recent caller to our Answerback line says she is sick and tired of hearing us end stories by saying there is more information available at KWCH-dot-com.
She said that not everyone has a computer, and it's unfair for us to "withhold" information from our viewers just to put it on the internet.
We realize not everyone has a computer these days, but like it or not, people without on-line access are more and more in the minority.
Our website is another path between KWCH 12 and our viewers, our customers.
It allows us to provide additional information that we don't have time to include during our newscasts.
Remember, a 30-minute newscast is limited to that amount of time, and not everything fits, while the internet is virtually unlimited.
As the media business continues to evolve, I can assure you you will be hearing a lot MORE reference to various dot-coms in the future.
You may not like it, but neither you nor I can stop it.
