Had a surprising call on our Answerback line Monday evening.

The viewer mentioned that all she had seen on KWCH that day were adds for Mitt Romney, but none for President Obama.

And she thought that didn't seem fair, and wondered if we were playing favorites.

Fortunately, she provided her name and phone number...so I was able to give her a call.

I explained that the commercials are bought and paid for and scheduled by the campaigns, not by us.

The President's campaign simply hasn't purchased ad time with us...presumably because Kansas traditionally votes republican.

It's like if you noticed a lot more commercials for Burger King instead of McDonalds.

That doesn't show we prefer B-K...just that one company spent the money to buy the time and the other didn't.

Trust me, our sales people would have been more than happy to take money from the Obama campaign, or any other for that matter.
