It happens during every bout of weather...particularly heavy snowfall.
The phones here in the newsroom ring non-stop...as people call in with cancellations.
Everything from major school districts to yoga classes for seniors.
We do our best to crawl as many as we can across the screen, but time and space are limited.
As always, the best advice is to call the organization directly if you're concerned about a cancellation.
That will keep you from sitting through 20-minutes of crawls and maybe still not seeing the event you're interested in.
