Kobach talks about new Kansas voter ID law

Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach spoke at the annual meeting of the Kansas County Clerks and Election Officials Association in Salina.

The Secure and Fair Elections Act requires a driver’s license or state issued ID to be able to vote and proof of citizenship when registering.

The reacion among the clerks was mixed, some saying that it's not necessary and others saying that it's needed.
