A federal court is asked to decide if this is discrimination- a woman's doctors advise her to get a companion dog to help with her anxiety and depression.
Her condo doesn't allow dogs, and suggests she get a cat instead, which is allowed in the high rise.
Diane Orenstein has been disabled since an accident in 2006 and two doctors recommend she get a dog for its therapeutic benefits. Her lawyer says cats don't offer the same feelings of welcoming an owner home or wanting to go for a walk.
