(WICHITA, Kan.)—
Do you worry about losing your job if you miss too much work? A new survey finds, 80 percent of those who answered say they go to work even when sick, a number that's up 20 percent from last year.
The theory is, the worse the economy, the more reluctant people are to use their sick days. But this survey also found, people feel the need to get work done. In a typical year, the flu is responsible for an estimated $10 billion dollars in lost office productivity.
