(WICHITA, Kan.)—
New research says women may be genetically wired to talk more than men.
The study finds the female brain has higher levels of a protein linked with verbal communication.
The same protein is higher in male rats, who are more vocal. Researchers say women on average speak almost 3 times the number of words men speak.
