(WICHITA, Kan.)—
A former Wichita police officer pleads guilty to sex crimes against children Monday morning.
Gregory Nicks entered a guilty plea to four counts of sexual exploitation of a child. Prosecutors dropped two counts of aggravated indecent liberties in exchange for the plea.
In August, a Sedgwick County judge convicted an acquaintance of Nicks, Luz Coronado, of the same charges. She was also found guilty of one count of aggravated indecent liberties with a child.
Coronado is scheduled to be sentenced next week. Nicks will be sentenced in early May.
