Update: Two more donors have addded money to the reward fund for information leading to an arrest in the murder of Tim McGuigan.
The new donations of $1,750 bring the total reward available in this case to $24,850.

The cases have gone cold. Now, Crime Stoppers of Wichita and Sedgwick County hopes additional reward money will help solve several murders.
Every week until the end of 2012, Crime Stoppers will spotlight an unsolved homicide case and double the reward money offered to $2,000.
The agency launched its latest effort with a public appeal for the killer of Tim McGuigan. The 61-year-old banker's body was found in the front room of his home on N. Woodridge. He had been shot several times in the late evening of September 6th, 2011, or early the next morning.
"We do not believe that robbery was a motive," Wichita police Lt. Todd Ojile said at a news conference Thursday. "It is possible that Mr. McGuigan knew his assailant."
JJ McGuigan found the body after his father failed to show up for their scheduled breakfast date.
"I've often said if you tried to be an enemy of my dad, you couldn't He'd win you over. I can't think of one person or one motive why this would happen," JJ McGuigan said.
JJ McGuigan, along with his sister and close friends, including the Wichita Wagonmasters, have pledged additional money to increase the total reward to $21,800. On October 31, an anonymous donor added an additional $2,000 for information leading to an arrest.
"Why it happens to anybody is unclear. Why it would happen to Tim McGuigan makes no sense at all to me," said Dave Dahl, a friend of 25 years.
