Seven months after 19-year-old Mallory Scofield died in a motorcycle accident, charges were filed in her death.

Twenty-two year-old Joshua Wynn was charged with first degree murder or the alternative of second degree murder. He was also charged with driving while his license was suspended and for not having a motorcycle license.

The accident happened September 1, 2011. The Kansas Highway Patrol says it tried to make contact with Wynn who was riding a motorcycle with Scofield on the back of the bike. They say Wynn then led troopers on a chase and crashed near Maple and 135th street West. Both people were ejected from the motorcycle and Scofield died from her injuries.

Wynn's bond was set for $100,00.  He's expected to be back in court later this month.
