(WICHITA, Kan.)—
Wichita police investigate how a man was beaten at a bar.
Police say the man was at the patio area of Soggy Bottom bar on North West St. Sunday night when he walked inside with blood all over him.
The bartender asked the man what happened and he replied that he was beaten by two people on the patio. The man said, they beat him up with a metal chair and stole hundreds of dollars in cash.
Witnesses identified a 55-year-old man, saying he had ran out of the bar shortly before the victim explained what happened to him. Officers found that suspect and booked him on outstanding warrants while they still investigate the robbery.
Officers are also looking for a second suspect.
The victim was taken to the hospital when he was treated and released.
