(WICHITA, Kan.)—
A Wichita man convicted of having sex with two underage girls will spend the rest of his life in prison. A judge handed down 17 life sentences without parole to James Brown.
Brown was convicted of nine counts of rapes and eight counts of trafficking.
He was convicted of having sex with two girls whose mom drove them from Kansas City to be with him.
The girls' mother pleaded guilty to 10 counts of sex trafficking and 10 counts of child endangerment. She will be sentenced later this month.
