Wichita police are looking for a burglar who made off with jewelry after being confronted by the resident.
A Wichita man came home just before noon on Monday and noticed a car he didn't recognize in the driveway.
Police say the man went to the back of the house to see if anyone was there and noticed his back door was kicked in.
The man went into the home and found a burglar inside. The burglar said he was looking for someone named Mark. He then went out through the front door and took off in his car.
Police say the burglar is a black male in his 20s, around 6 feet tall, stocky build, around 200 lbs. He was wearing dark clothes and a dark hoodie. His car is a silver or tan Mazda Tribune.
Anyone with information about the case is asked to contact police.
