Wichita police arrest three people they believe may be responsible for a series of robberies in Old Town.

Police knew a group was going around in that area attacking and robbing people after hours. Friday morning, a passerby noticed three guys come out of the Quik Trip at Douglas and Washington and attack a man who was on the sidewalk in the 300 block of N. Washington.

Police say the men started hitting the man and going through his pockets, taking some items. He was not seriously hurt.

A passerby called for police, who were right around the corner. They approached the suspects, who took off. While running away from officers, they attacked another person (who was not seriously hurt).

Officers were able to catch all three men, two of them are 18 - the third is 19. They were booked for Friday morning's robbery and battery. But, police believe they may be responsible for other recent attacks.
