Police busy with several robberies Wednesday

Wichita police had their hands full with several robberies around town Wednesday.

Johnson's General Store Robbery:

The first robbery happened at Johnson's General Store at 5400 N. Meridian.

Police say a 26-year-old went into the store around 7:30 Wednesday morning and demanded cash.  The clerk called 911. Park City police officers arrived at the store while the suspect was still there.  He was arrested. 

Presto Station Robbery:

Police say someone went into the Presto gas station in the 3300 block of N. Rock Road at around 6:40 Wednesday evening.  He showed a handgun to the clerk and demanded money.

The suspect took cash from the register and left the store on foot.

Police have not arrested him.

Family Dollar Robbery:

Police are looking for the man who robbed the Family Dollar in the 300 block of W. 21st Street N.  Police say the suspect went into the store at around 9:30 Wednesday evening, pulled a gun and left with cash.

No one was hurt.

Two People Robbed:

Police are also looking for a white Jeep in connection with a robbery that happened early Thursday morning. 

Police tell us the two victims pulled into the parking lot at Fox Run Apartments shortly after midnight.  They were approached by a white Jeep.  The suspects inside the jeep robbed the victims and threatened them with a shotgun.

The suspects made off with cell phones, keys and wallets.

No one was hurt.
