A 30-year-old woman is arrested after crashing into a patrol car during a chase.

It all started around ten o'clock Saturday morning when police tried to pull a woman over in the 2000 block of N. Green. Instead of stopping, the woman turned into a neighborhood.

Wichita police say she made several turns through the neighborhood. The officer put down spike strips in an attempt to stop her. Police say the woman noticed the strips and intentionally rammed the officer's patrol vehicle.

Police say the officer was in fear of his life, and ran into a yard behind a tree as the car was headed toward where he was.

The car continued through the neighborhood until all four tires were flat.

Police arrested the woman and booked her for felony evade and elude and aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer charges.

The officer was not hurt.
