Police are looking for a man who robbed a Wichita doctor armed with two knives.  It happened in Tuesday morning just before noon at a doctor's office in the 2600 block of E. Central.

Dr. Thomas Tran says his office opened late on Tuesday because of the storm.  He was in early doing some cleaning when he was approached by a man wearing a ski mask. He says he thought the man was a patient who didn't realize they were closed, but the man then pulled out two knives and shoved him into an exam room.

Dr. Tran tells us the robber tied him him and put a pillow case over his head.  The robber then took several hundred dollars from him and the cash register.  He also took Tran's credit cards, and cut his nose while demanding PIN numbers for the cards.

The 73-year-old says he has no idea who the man was because he was wearing a mask.

The doctor says he's glad no one else was in the business at the time.  He hopes police catch the man soon.

"I don't want it to happen to any other office," Dr. Tran said. "I think he will try another place because the way he tied my hands, I know he has done that before."

The robber is described as a 5' 6" Asian man with a medium build.  He was wearing a ski mask, a black hoodie, blue jeans and white shoes.

Anyone with information on the case is asked to contact police.

Dr. Tran was back at work today seeing patients.  He was not seriously hurt.
