Wichita police credit an attentive neighbor for helping them catch a teen burglar. It happened in the 100 block of N. St. Claire around 11:15 Monday morning.
Police say a neighbor called police after seeing a person walking down the middle of the street with a wheelbarrow full of items.
Officers found the 15-year-old in the 200 block of N. Athenian. They found a rifle and some household items along with some marijuana in his pocket.
Police took the teen back to the home, went into the house and connected him with the theft.
The items were returned to the owner and the teen was arrested.
