(WICHITA, Kan.)—
The Wichita Police Department Bomb Squad detonated a suspicious device just before 10:30 Tuesday night.The device was found in the driveway of a business in the 1600 block of S. Meridian, about a block south of Harry.
A police robot was brought in and determined the lumpy object was emitting an electronic noise. Police detonated the device as a precaution.
Police reopened a three block area of Meridian south of Harry just before eleven o'clock that had been closed for about two hours.
