The crime spree happened over several hours early Wednesday morning at Discount Auto Sales Inc., 9901 E. Kellogg. At least four crooks were involved in the heist.
"It's extremely aggravating when you wake up thinking it's just going to be a regular day at work and it's not," manager Zack Vanatta said.
Surveillance video from the business shows the thieves were on the property for about five hours, damaging offices and stealing items before driving off with four vehicles.
At two different points the video shows thieves move the cameras to avoid being seen.
The crooks appeared to be loading heavy aluminum radiators and a/c condensers into the vehicles. Those items can be sold for scrap and fetch good money.
"Altogether, there's probably somewhere around $40,000 to $50,000 worth of damage," Vanatta said.
The team of thieves drove away with:
- 2008 Pontiac G6 (white)
- 1999 Mercury Cougar (red)
- 2000 Dodge Durang (silver)
- 2000 Mercury Cougar (maroon)
The business is offering a $2,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest.
