A Wichita mother pleads not guilty to child endangerment charges stemming from an incident in February when her child fell out of a moving car and she continued driving.

Rebecca Lynn Fowler was in court this morning.

Previously Fowler told Eyewitness News that she's a good mother who made a terrible mistake.

Fowler said she lives out of town and didn't have her son's car seat with her. She jumped in the car for an unexpected trip -- about 5 or 6 blocks away -- and used a lap belt to buckle her son in the backseat.

The 21-year-old mother of two, says on the way back, her very active son, got free of the seat belt, opened the door and fell out of the slow moving car.
