A police chase comes to an end in east Wichita, but not before reaching speeds of at least 60 miles-per-hour.
The chase started around 3:30 Monday afternoon when officers responded to a report of someone with a weapon in the 2600 block of S. Vassar.
The suspect led police on a chase around east Wichita for about 20 minutes. The chase finally came to an end just before four o'clock near Kellogg and Woodlawn.
The suspect suffered minor injuries. Paramedics took him to a Wichita hospital. He'll be taken to the Sedgwick County Jail after he's treated.
Officers recovered an assault rifle from the SUV involved in the chase.
Police arrested a second suspect near where the chase began. No civilians or officers were hurt.
