(ELLSWORTH, Kan.)—
An Ellsworth woman has been arrested in connection to her one-year-old daughter's death.
Authorities booked Michele Suppes, 26, into the Ellsworth County jail Tuesday night. She is being held on felony murder and aggravated child endangerment charges.
The Ellsworth County Independent-Reporter says Suppes' daughter died in June of 2010. The case was turned over to the Kansas Bureau of Investigation. The case was returned Joe Shepack, Ellsworth County attorney, then passed on to state attorney general Derek Schmidt's office.
The cause of the child's death has not yet been released.
It is unknown when Suppes will make her first appearance in court.
